My family was giving me a bit of a hard time tonight (good-naturedly, not in a mean way) about not having a "real" dinner.
I made baked potatoes. Now, this was not just a plain ol' potato. They were large potatoes, topped with crumbled browned hamburger, bacon, cheddar cheese, and green onions. (Bell pepper or jalepeno optional).
It filled a whole plate - and had the requisite meat, starch, veggie. But when everyone sat down to eat, they said "where's the rest of dinner?"
