Would you consider this ad weird?

I placed an ad on Craigslist to provide babysitting on weekend/evenings. I actually got a great job working two hours every afternoon and paying really well, so I should have taken the ad down. Anyway, I just got an email from someone about a babysitting job this Saturday. She sent me a link to the ad and I thought it was really strange. They are saying to bring your girlfriends and even have a link to their house. I don't think I am going to reply. I read that ad. and all my danger signals went off. Do NOT reply. I'm a mom and there is no way I would write an ad like that. I highly doubt there are any children involved at this party and if you and a friend go you will likely be the entertainment. That ad is just too creepy.

yeah that one looks a little sketchy - its like the pictures are copied right off the real estate ad. And I doubt a mom would say she is looking for a college age gal - that just sounds like an 60 year old perv - a nice college age gal - creepy. I would definately NOT answer.

Moms look for sitters who are reliable, experienced, and mature, with references and current CPR certification. Oh, and I would think another requirement would be strong swimming skills! That ad is fake.

First off, the pic thing is way weird. Secondly, if I wanted you to babysit my 4 and 6 year old, I don't think I would want you hanging out with your friends swimming, watching TV, and playing video games!

Please do not even consider replying. A young woman answered a babysitting ad on Craigslist here in MN a year or so ago and it was a trap. She was murdered in cold blood by the writer of the ad. She was the daughter of a coworker of my dh. So tragic! I know there are many legitimate ads on Craigslist and I've used it myself to sell and buy an item or two, but please listen to your instincts and run from anything that even hints at something weird. This one reeks of it.

I don't know why but Craig's list just worries me. So I wanted to see how easy it would be to check this out. I google searched the name of the city and looked for real estate and found this. The pictures are pulled straight from the ad.

I would contact the real estate agent. That way they can ask the owner if it's a real ad or not. Either way it's a creepy ad.
