the Sleep Inn supposedly both are very close to US and IOA.It will only be for 1 night in July before we start our WDW part of our vacation.I have never stayed off Disney,so I get leary about the quality of the hotel but don't want to pay more for a night than Disney because we will be arriving after 8pm and going to IOA for the day and then check into Disney in the early evening. Thanks for any help in advance and possibly any other cheap, clean place close to IOA you can think of.Thanks Dana:cat:

I haven't stayed at either the Hampton Inn or the Sleep Inn but they are both close to USF/IOA and I have seen them and they look good from the outside. We have stayed at the Fairfield Inn Universal which is right in the same area and have been very pleased both with the rate and the hotel. It is one of the newer hotels in that Major Blvd. area. I believe we paid about $59.00 a night through Hotel Kingdom.

You might also want to check out the Orlando Hotels and Attractions Forum. I remember some threads on the Sleep Inn over there.

We have stayed at the Sleep Inn, Fairfield Inn, Best Western and Suburban Lodge, all located in the same convenient area. The Sleep Inn, Fairfield Inn and Best Western are all comparable as far as cleanliness and comfort. We would stay at any one of them again. In fact, we stayed at the Sleep Inn last weekend, and will be staying at the Fairfield Inn this coming weekend. Whichever one I can get the best rate for (usually between $50 and $60) is the one I book. The Suburban Lodge ($45/night) was clean, but the rooms are very small.

I typically stay at Hamptons when I'm travelling. They are typically a good value and the quality from one to the next is consistent. They also offer a continental breakfast at most locations. I hope this helps you out.

For just one night on the cheap, I would really think about using Priceline ...

www.avistahotels.com You will find a holiday inn with extremely good rates, and is in an excellent location. This hotel has microfridges in them . with tax thru this website I believe this will cost you less that 62.00 per night. This direct access to this hotel. There is no middle man to take your money.

Thanks for the replies.I think we are going to try the Sleep Inn.We can get it for 59.00 plus tax. Thanks for all the replies.I'll give a room report when I return!

I second that for trying Priceline. I have twice stayed at a Fairfield Inn on Jamaican Court (just off Intl. Blvd) for under $30 per night. Just stick with bidding in the Universal area.
