Would you choose Bahama Bay or Regal Palms?

We have four children and need a two bedroom at minimum for a week in October. The kids are going to be 10 mos, 5, 8 and 10. If you have stayed at these what are the pros and cons. We have previously stayed at Orange Lake, Floridays. Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa, and Bonnet Creek. Thanks for all the input in advance. Also DH may or may not go and I will have a car.

We've stayed a few times at Regal Palms and thought it was a good deal. It is, however, quite a ways out from Disney. You would go all the way to the end of 192 and get on 27 for about another 5minutes.

That being said, the pool area is really nice but could be larger for the amount of units they have there. But in October, that probably won't be a problem.

The units themselves are quite large but furnished very basically. The set up is great however.

We haven't been there in about two years, so things could be a bit different now. When we were there the last time, the management was kind of lacking. Things like there were never enough towels at the pool. You had to wait forever to get service at the restaurant, etc..

Hope this helps!

It is. Maybe another 10 minutes with traffic/lights.

If you had the option of staying at Orange Lake or Bonnet Creek again, I would definitely recommend them over Regal Palms. Much closer and I think they are better run resorts.

Not sure what your price range is, but a couple others I'd recommend would be the Marriott Resorts:

Grande Vista
Harbor Lakes
Cypress Harbor

They are all really nice and an easy commute to Disney.

Hope this helps!
