Would you change your dates?

OK, I know I am bordering on paranoia We are booked for POP Aug 3 - 11th. I am afraid that if I don't split up my reservation now into 2 separate stays (Aug 3-4 and Aug 5-11) that free dining will be announced later and I won't be able to take part because I already have a reservation that starts too early. Does that make sense? I worry that if I wait and then try to change it later, I won't be able to because everybody else will be doing the same thing.

I know that nobody knows yet if free dining will be offered to the general public. But if you were me, what would you do? We can't push our trip out any further because DH is a teacher and has to be back at school on the 13th. Should I just chill out, or try to cover all the scenarios now?

Before I chilled, however, I'd check the dates of the previously-announced UK free dining and the "Bounce Back" free dining. It's a safe SWAG that the "free dining" dates will be about the same as those...which unfortunately, I don't have handy.

You may be entirely outside of the 2007 free dining dates, but none of us will know for sure until the actual dates are announced.

The UK deal starts later in the month, but the "bounce back" deal starts on Aug 5th - 2 days after we arrive. From what I've read here on these boards, they will not give you free dining unless your check-in date is on or after the start date for the promotion. That's what has me worried I have a family of 6 so the free dining would obviously be a HUGE savings for me. I would be willing to split up my reservations in order to take advantage.

We are booked from Aug 4 - 15 on the Bounceback program. We have a one night reservation (full summer rate ) for the first night. Our 10 night dining package starts on the 5th. You are not allowed to book early and it must start on or after the 5th.

We were there last year on the first day it was offered and by mid week Disney was a ZOO. We are doing it again this year early only because the UK people do not start until the 14th.

I would just leave it and wait until they announce the deal. You will just have to move fast to switch it when it is offered.

Here are my thoughts on what will be offered this year. Since they have already staggered the UK, Bounceback, 40%off code and Littleones promo, they will not offer free dining until after Aug 21 or after Labour day.

I would wait until it is offered. Then you can call and split your ressies and get FREE DINING for the latter part of your stay. The dates on the BOUNCEBACK promotion were 8/5-9/29. GOOD LUCK!
