Would you buy this Thomas Kinkade poster?

You were all so enthusiastic when I showed my interest in the Thomas Kinkade painting of Disneyland's 50th anniversary. I don't know a lot about paintings or anything. What I want to know is, would you buy this one?

It says that it's not a scan of the original. I don't care if I don't get an oil painting, or even a canvas. We are not rich, and can't afford anything right now. But, I don't want to buy something that someone made up at home. Does anyone know if posters of this size were even made commercially? If not, then this would have to be one someone made at home, right? I just want to make sure I don't get a crappy copy of something that has such a beautiful original. I am thinking of buying this one, and then, when I have the money for it, taking it in to Michael's or somewhere and getting it professionally framed. Is that silly? I just want a larger print of such a pretty picture. So when my kids are driving me crazy I can go take deep breathes in the tv room and count the hidden mickeys.

My advice would be to contact a Kinkade Gallery and ask them the question. That way you would know for sure. It is possible that they made posters of the painting. I think they do that.

I have the print hanging in my living room right now (it's not an oil painting). I bought it at the World of Disney in DTD. I got myself a frame at Walmart. Looks great! Sure I'd love to have a REAL painting of it, but it was just too costly for us. Our print fits in to a 12X14 frame, so that poster looks to be a lot bigger. I think I only paid $25 for the print too. But I love it, even if it isn't the real thing!
