ok - I like everyone comments
no ice tea - just good old water, h2o
No for another question - what does the CSR mug look like?
Maybe if I like the pattern, I will get it.
Or use the other suggestions and buy a mug elsewhere.
For $15, I'd rather buy a different mug. I think they only say Disney Parks on them. Funny, but I saw the current mug (blue lid only) at Disneyland Hotel's coffee stand. They used it as the regular souvie mug you can get with a cup of coffee or soda.
You can get ice water at the different stands. They have to give you a new cup for sanitary reasons. They can't risk contamination with a "foreign" cup.

I'm in the minority but I love the resort mugs. I have them going back years when they were unique to each resort. We use them for our patio drinks and kids that are over visiting always think they are cute. They also always seem to illicit a story or something fun when we use them as a family. When DD was transitioning to "adult" cups we used those and it was so great to prevent spills and much more fun than the traditional sippy cup. And they are practically indestructible too. I find we use our mugs more than anything else we've ever brought home from Disney.
Hehehe just for water. Hehehe. Now that I think about it you could always bring your own, but if you don't like their water fountains I suppose you could.
I have paid for them once without the DDP and would again if I had to even with the Plan. We do long stays, we use our mugs a LOT every trip and we stay at the same resort for our entire stay.
I have worked out that it takes us less than 3 days to break even with the cost of our mugs vs having bought the beverages and paid OOP for them, even with the DDP. Of course we are in the top criteria for those who do benefit from the mugs, purchased separately or included with the plan. That is not the case for everyone. I know people who have gone and hardly used them at all - or just used it once or twice the first day or two.
I drink water 90% of the time so usually I'd say no. Last trip I was on site 8 days. So I did go ahead and buy one. I may have broke even money wise, but I also brought home a nice enough mug to keep at work for coffee. Don't know that I'd do it again.
First time I was there I bought a huge Tervis tumbler with a lid and straw for nearly the same price as a mug. That is the one that has gotten the most use back home.
