I am trying to finalize my welcome page...and the paragraph has got my head spinning I don't know why...maybe it's because I am not nearly as interested in this portion.

I actually just kinda rewrote what I'd posted in my planning journal and on one of those "Share your engagement story!" threads on this board:

Our Story

Disneyland brought us together. At Big Thunder Mountain pond, Carrie made a wish on a nickel to meet a guy who liked Disneyland and didn't live with his mother. That night, Carrie went to the birthday party of her childhood pal Gabe and met one of his 36,000 cousins, Patrick. When they stood up to leave, Patrick thought, "Wow, she's tall...but funny!" and decided to ask Carrie out. On their first date, just as the lights were going down for their second movie, Patrick mentioned that he had an annual pass to Disneyland. Next time they're at Big Thunder Mountain, Carrie and Patrick are going to wish for a Ferrari....
