No, not at all.
We have had a variety of problems related to our pets while we travelled over the years. Usually, I feel bad that my pet made a problem for the sitter. One time, my cat nearly bled to death from a cut in his leg. It turned out he had an angiosarcoma, and the choices were to amputate the leg or to put him to sleep. This was the first day we arrived in Florida, driving. My husband had gone to his cousin's house, and I was at my brother's house without a car. So, I had to decide on my own what to do with the cat. He was 13 years old, so, we decided to put him down. The poor sitter felt so bad about it, and I felt bad that it had happened while I was gone.
Another time, somebody left the gate open, and our dogs escaped. My sitter wasn't the one who opened the gate, but, she didn't let us know what happened until she found the dogs.
