Well, there were times during my CP where I wanted nothing more than to burn down the resort (or at least my work location).

Overall, though, I did really enjoy it. I had a high level of Guest interaction, which was great. Would I do it again? Sure, in a professional capacity. I would love to work in College Recruiting or with Disney Sports and Recreation. Will I do another College Program? Definitely, though hopefully it'll be an Advanced Internship that can lead to some sort of a professional position.

No, not because it sounds like to much work. Rather, I prefer to keep it a "special" vacation place for my family.

I too have heard that the pay really stinks working for Disney. However, as an ealier poster wrote, it's all supply and demand. I'm sure they get more than enough applicants for their positions.

Working after retirement sounds like a good option. I'd love to work at the Haunted Mansion, or as one of the boat captains on the Jungle Cruise. Even driving the monorail would be cool.

Just happened to be talking to two friends when we all happened to be at disney at the same time. Since we are all nurses the 365, holidays never came up, heck we do that now.

Anyway one friend said her DH says he'd be a bus driver, after all he said, all you need to know is the back follows the front. She thought the gift shop would be the place.

Other friend and I are holding out for princess positions. Think there are some 40-50 something princess jobs out there?

Actually I would love to work in horticulture down there.

only for the right pay. I can't feed and house my family on 5.50/hr. I would need to work at the executive level. I have applied for jobs at WDW, at the higher level (for which I AM qualified). Still waiting to hear, don't know what the jobs pay and sure am interested to find out AND WILL move.

Yup, sure would. :) Ideally, I'd be one of the photographers. Next pick would be a character, followed by one of the CMs who frequently go out with the characters. Then Attractions.

I don't think I'd want to do it full-time and long-term, but for a while it would be fun. :)

I am an events/convention planner and manager by profession and would LOVE to help guests have magical events at WDW.

Disneyland_Emily ~ you sounded like a license plate frame we have!! :teeth:

No, I don't think I'd want to work at Disney. I just love going there to have fun!!! Although I do have a friend who works there & just LOVES it!! She also spreads lots of pixie dust around to others who go to Disney! She's a real life pixie dust spreader!!

(Hi to my little 'pixie dust' spreader of a friend!!) :wave2:

They were holding casting for Disney princesses two weeks ago Tuesday...DH had picked up an Orlando Sentinel, and there the job posting was...

It was for female face characters...

And yes, I would want to be a CM...someday, my wish will come!!
I'd want to be Rozie's Best Friend....you know, the nice lady at MGM with the mop and bucket...:sunny:

Mishetta - I was delighted to hear of your "little pixie dust spreader of a friend" at WDW. I bet it would make them laugh to hear that!

Best wishes to you and I hope you'll get to see your friend again during your next visit.
