Just for one night, would we fit in a Contemp standard wing room?

We are:

3 adults
2 children (dd4 and dd12)
1 infant who would sleep in a pack n play

It wouldn't be ideal to share a room, but it is just for one night. It would save us a little $$ but still have us in the MK area when we want to be and allow us to use MME.

Anyone know if we'd fit according to WDW resort guidelines?

Thanks

Shel

I don't see how you would fit. We stayed in the tower last week, but I believe the rooms are about the same size. They are large rooms with queen size beds, but unless you plan on having one of the kids sleep with one of the adults I don't see how it would be possible.

The day bed is twin size, so it could only sleep one comfortably. Maybe if the kids are small enough it could fit two.

Two of the adults would sleep together, one child would sleep with one adult, one child in the daybed, and the infant in the pack and play, but he'd probably end up with the adults anyway.

Thanks

Shel

Yes you would fit. The CR sleeps 5. There are 2 queen beds and a daybed. Im assuming it will be you and your dh. You can have 1 bed, extra adult on the daybed (they are big and comfortable) and the 2 kids in the other queen, infant in the crib. They have real cribs at the deluxe resorts, not pak n plays.
The CR has large rooms and you would all be fine.

I think you'd fit. Go for it to be so near MK. :cloud9:

Definitely considering it. My dh might feel a bit crowded out since it will be a gaggle of girls, but he could find a spot to read until late and then we'd be getting up first thing in the morning anyway. Might be a fun time to to Chef Mickey's. Thanks!

On our first trip to WDW we did just this. We had DH, me, DS 16 (and 6 foot 3), DS 10, DS 5 and DD 2 1/2. We put our oldest son in the daybed, had DH and DS 10 in one bed, me and DS 5 in the other bed and our daughter in a pack and play type thing. It worked out VERY well. We had plenty of room. We did set up the pack and play inthe bathroom sometimes since she went to sleep pretty early and we didn't want to go to bed that early. We have since stayed at the Contemporary on 3 other occasions with the kids older, but minus our oldest who always seems to have something else to do, and have fit fine with 5 of us in the room.

Have a GREAT trip!
