I'm with you. Be happy you have lights to put up and your family is together, there are much more important things in life to be worried about other than what color lights you have up.

Mine works long hours and wants nothing to do with decorating of any kind (Christmas or other) on his time off.
I hung white lights around the frames of our front windows; it is all I can manage on my own. I'd kill myself on a ladder.
So I'd say be grateful you have a husband that hangs lights. Not all men will.
