Im not interested in having a big expensive reception, just a nice dinner for my guests. So this is what ive come up with, would disney even allow it? Ceremony at the WP then dinner for about 50 at Chefs De France, then i would like to rent one of the DP locations to cut the cake and watch the fireworks. I guess my question is can you even make a reservation for 50 at chefs???

Are you looking to have an Escape or Wishes event? With the info you've provided of 50 guests it looks like you'd be having a wishes event.

You can customize a wishes event to do almost anything you'd like. If you don't want a full reception you can just have a dinner and DP, but with 50 guests it'd have to be a wishes event.

I agree. If you're having a Wishes ceremony and as long as the restaurant can handle a private party of 50 (or you'd be willing to pay to rent out the place), I'm sure you can do it. Check with you planner for sure though!
