Would this be considered transfering points?

If my friend and I want to join our points to get a week in the grand villa @ Aulani (which she is an owner there but I am not) would it be to transfer my points to her or is NOT AT ALL POSSIBLE because they are different home resorts? OR NOT POSIBBLE because of maybe different UY? Althouth not sure of that either forgot to ask her? Sorry sounds so confusing!

you can transfer your pts to her, but your home resort and UY still apply. (so you can't book aulani with your pts till 7 months out.)

you could also book aulani at 7 months out (exact same room type/view) without transferring and ask MS to link the 2 reservations.

A transfer happens when someone asks that their points be given to another member for use in that person's membership.

If you want to give your friend your points so she can book a reservation with them, then yes, that is a transfer.

As mentioned, however, doing this will not turn your points into Aulani points for booking purposes during the home resort booking period. Your points, whether they are still in your account or transferred to her, will not be good to reserve rooms at Aulani until the 7 month mark.
