Would something like Beak & Barrel work in New Orleans Square?

This looks great and seems like something that would work really well in New Orleans Square. I know some might say it's just a Pirates version of Oga's Cantina but it looks pretty charming. I'm not sure where it could go or what it could replace given the size it might need. I wouldn't want to remove a dining option for this. The animatronic bird looks like a cross of the Rocket animatronic from the Guardians ride and the bird from Tropical Hideaway.

It would have to replace Royal Street Veranda and/or most of Port Royal Curios and Curiosities. Maybe Royal Street Veranda can stay because losing a walk up window isn't great. Port Royal Curios seems redundant with the Haunted Mansion gift shop up and running. It would have to be near Pirates to make sense. Eudora's Chic Boutique would also be big enough, maybe. Do we need two Tiana shops? It's just a thought. That may not be big enough since Club 313 is there. I know space is at a premium at DLR.

In my opinion, they never make these bars big enough. There’s crazy demand. Like trader sams for instance. Which is stressful and frustrating to try to get into for most guests.

The 45 min cut off is also annoying. One time we went to Ogas, our waiter asked if we wanted another round. We said yes. Finally got our second round, waiter turned around for 30 seconds to check on the table behind us, then told us our time was up. We had full glasses. It was beyond frustrating. It was after 10pm and there were empty tables. So while these places are neat and well themed, I think people start to get turned off by it. It’s expensive and I want to enjoy my drink, not be forced to chug it because I have to leave. (And yes, I understand the cut off because they don’t want people to drink too much in the parks, but there should be a little bit of leniency for situations like ours)

It makes me wonder that after a couple of years, beak and barrel will no longer have reservations similar to Ogas.

I feel Oga's just has more of a limited shelf life given how far removed it is from the rest of the park and that it is for something so specific to a fandom. I'm a Star Wars fan but Galaxy's Edge rates lower to me now when I take a Disney vacation. It's a trek to get up there and there's not much else that's as big a draw to build a day around it. I've only been once to Oga's and there's just not a lot to it after you've done it once.

The other one looks larger and you can sit in a different fun area in subsequent visits. I think being in the thick of a high traffic area would make it do well for a while especially as a walk-up. I just don't know if there's enough space for it. It will be interesting to see how it does long term at WDW. I feel Adventureland rates the lowest of that park as far as interest.

45 minutes is barely enough time to enjoy 2 drinks when service is prompt.

I did think about Port Royal but it looks pretty small for something like this
