Would someone explain what an ip address is?

Some of the rewards programs I do say you can't have more than one person use the same ip address.......but they let you have more than one account per household. I haven't a clue what ip address is.

Here's a simple primer on IP's by Yahoo.

It sounds like you could register on your site from various computers in your house, but only one time for each computer.
