Would putting a mickey square slide on my 5 yr old's MB help him?

I keep hearing of folks saying that their kids had trouble with knowing to put the mickey head on the scanner when using the magic band. Would it help to buy one of those mickey square slides to put directly over the Magic Band mickey head?

No. It might interfere with the chip.

Kids don't need to scan all that often, and it isn't a problem. My 3yo didn't have any issues...

If you are concerned. You could just use a Sharpie and outline the imprinted Mickey...but totally not necessary.

I don't think it's necessary but contrary to the what the previous poster stated, it will not interfere with the scanning of the MB. We have placed all sorts of decorations over the Mickey head and never had a problem.

I wouldn't worry. My 4 year old insisted on scanning by herself every time and had no issues during our entire trip with getting the green Mickey.
