I looked at that we are going to be there 15 nights total Aprils 27th to May 12th
so right now here is my breakdown (I haven't booked yet) just the airline tickets bought
we get in at 9 pm on the 27th of April I was thinking 3 nights at POP Or anyother hotel with a great pool thats cheaper,
Then moving to the coranodo for 12 nights with meal plan and 10 day tickets

with 2 more days in the middle as down days and laundry
So what would you do for those 3 nights? DH will becoming off a very busy time at work and needs a few days to chill before we jump in to full on disney.
So we just want to float in a nice pool but save some money, thats why we are not going to CRS right away

Have you considered staying at Pop the entire time? You'd save enough on hotel to almost cover the cost of the dinin plan for the other days you are there.

I would but the 3 days in a double will be hard enough on DH I don't think he could handle 15 nights in a double that is the only thing that is holding us back from value resrorts
DH is over 6'7" and football player size
then 2 kids
If it was just us and we could get a king bed then the values would be a great fit for us but until then

First of all, I love POP. That's where we stayed for a week and had a great time. But, we are only me, DH, and DS10(at the time), and none of us are over 5'10". Plus, we were gone in the parks all day, everyday, and only basically slept in the room.
I hate to say it, but I don't think your hubby will be comfortable, or able to relax much at POP for 3 nights, based on his size and the number of people in the room. I would look for another option, maybe off site even, if you can't swing the extra 3 nights at CSR.
I have seen great reviews and pictures of Caribe Royale and mousesavers often has special rates.

thanks thats the type of stuff I was wondering about
I was trying to find the nicest hotel I could for about the $80 a night and that how much pop is
SO I was wondering what my other options my be to explore

You said the 27th but did'nt say the month, is it Feb? If so I would get it booked asap. I wouldn't do POP with your DH would not be comfortable in those beds. Check on mousesavers the downtown disney hotels are a bit nicer and may have larger beds and they sometimes offer good deals. Linda :)

If your looking to stay closer to $80/night, maybe the Caribe Royale's sister hotel would be better...Buena Vista Suites. Rooms are the same as Caribe Royale, free breakfast is included, but the pool is not as nice. Here's a link:

End of this month is $89/night (did you mean the 27th of this month in your post?). Sign up for mousesavers emails to get special deals, plus look around their site, they have deals for other hotels too.

thank you all for your help it really gave us a lot to think about and explore
DH read the posts about the bed not working for him we ended up booing the CSR for the whole time
we added the meal plan for 14 nights and a room only for the first night
it was $380 more then we had budgeted but not having to move and having meals added on was added the value to DH

We stayed at Pop last Oct. my mom, my 2 kids & I ~ we each had our own bed, DS used an Aerobed for kids (he's 9) DD (she's 6) used a inflatable sleeping bag ~ http://www.amazon.com/Disney-High-S...e=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1265504806&sr=8-4 ~ we placed the sleeping bag bed in between the 2 doubles and during the day on top of one of the beds, the aerobed was against a wall (we moved the table a bit) during the day we'd stand it up and lean it against the entertainment center.
