Would my daughter be a 2- or 3-year-old?

We’re considering an August trip for the free dining. My daughter turns 3 on the 18th. We thought we’d go the 17th. Then she’d be free and we would be there for her birthday. Two pluses. We would like to arrive late on the 17th so we can work that day. We wouldn’t go to the parks until the 18th. Since we wouldn’t use the passes until the 18th, would my daughter then be charged? Our reservations start the 17th, but the passes would first be used on the 18th. I hope that makes sense.

ditto - unless you are talking about APs, the age of the child at check in is the age of the child for the entire trip - irreguardless if you don't activate the passes that you purchased until later in that trip.

you are not breaking the rules, just using them to their full advantage.
