We have 1 1/2 days to spend at Universal/IOA

Friday, Nov 9 we will be in IOA for a private event from 7:30-11pm. Is this enough time to do everything? It is just my DH and I, we will be focusing on thrill rides and Harry Potter of course

Monday, Nov 12 is open. We could do IOA again (to see WWHP in the daytime and breakfast at Three Broomsticks ) or US or is it worth the expense to get the park-to-park pass? Again, mostly interested in the thrill rides, maybe a show or two. The last time we were at US was over 10 years ago and that was in California so it would be nice to see it again.

Depending on which park Monday... we have a 4pm ressie at Mythos, but I could cancel that and do Lombard's instead. Thinking I could do the Cinematic Spectacular Experience if I went that route... is it worth it the cost? The parks are only open until 6pm that day. Will it even be dark enough to fully enjoy the show?

The very last option is not booking anything for Monday and seeing where the wind takes us since it's our last day of vacation.

Most likely, your special event only includes the Wizarding World and the other rides in the park will be closed (unless it is a huge event in which case the whole park may be open).

Once you find out what is open, you can make a better decision.

Yeah - If your private event is huge and the whole park is open then do US the next day. But I have a feeling that you will get your fill of Potter and the next day may want to do US and see the show at night.. yes 6pm will be dark.

The show is nice - but don't expect a huge disney style show and fireworks.

We eat at Mythos regularly. We've never tried Lombard's.

I enjoy both Mythos and Lombards, but Mythos is just very special to me. The setting alone is worth experiencing and the food is great.
