Would like to rent points for VWL for 3/7/07-3/10/07

Cast - party of 3 (mom, dad, and 2.5 year old toddler)
Question - would it be better to rent points VWL or just purchase 3 nights at Wilderness lodge for 3/7/07 - 3/10/07 for our pre-cruise trip to Disney?
How much would it cost me to rent? Any input appreciated.
Never rented before, and not a DVC member.
