Over the years I've used Mears without any problem. Seems like I may be the only one after reading some of the recent posts! :)

However, after much thought and again, reading these posts, I'm thinking about using a Limo for this next trip. It does take forever to get to the Boardwalk unless you happen to be lucky and you're the only one in the van! But lets face it; that never happens with Mears.

But I'd like information on these grocery runs. For instance is it really a 30 minute run. Or is there some give on the time? Does the store provide some sort of container for the perishables? Or should I have something?

And with regards to the Limo.....

Please offer suggestions as to "which" company and why! :)

Thanks!

We used a town car from Tiffany Towncar and it was great! I chose them because of all the great reviews they get on this board. We stopped at a grocery store about 1/2 way between MCO and WDW. It was a brand new Kash 'n Karry and it was empty on a Saturday morning! We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. Tiffany likes to stop at grocery tours a little farther out from Disney so they are less crowded and a little cheaper. We were very pleased. If you have a list of items you wish to purchase and the store is not packed, you should have no problem finishing in 30 minutes. Also, may I suggest purchasing a styrofoam cooler at the grocery store. It costs a few dollars and is a great way to keep things cold for the week. Just fill it with ice at the store, then refill it at the resort during the week. At the end of the week, you can just throw it away. They have them in most grocery stores. Hope this helps!

puffkin - thanks for your reply. I think that I may go with Tiffany also because of all the good reviews I've found here.

I just didn't know what to expect at the store. I will most definately have a list ready since I know more or less what I want. The chest will come in handy since my room most likely won't be ready till close to 4PM (Boardwalk Villa's) anyway!

Again, thanks! ;)

Hi

We use Fl. Tours because they are the official transportation company of the DIS. By using them you are helping support these boards that we have all come to love and rely on for our Disney information.

I can tell you that Fl. Tours is ontime, friendly, competative, thier grocery stop is suggested at 30 minutes but I doubt they would leave you sitting there if you were detained because the store was busy. I know they also loan you a discount card for the grocery store.

Andy is a great guy and he has always been wonderful about making things work for his customers.

MS WDW BW Villas should have frig and freeze avail at bell stand for your items. Have them bagged for frig and freeze and just give them to bell man. We have done this at OKW and Vero. I am sure someone can confirm this service is available at BW.

Does anyone know which grocery store Yourride stops at?

dvc guy and Trekker - Thanks for the input!

I'm a little ashamed to admitt that I did forget about Fl. Tours. Dispite the fact that their add flashes at the top of my screen!

I think I still may get the styrofoam chest to just "store" the stuff at the Boardwalk. Easier than lugging multiple "bags" around; for me and the bell hop! :)

Thanks again!
