Would it be worthwhile to change our ressie?

We are at POP from Sept. 13-20th for our 5 year anniversary. DH didn't even want to go on any trip because of finances, but I convinced him with this free dining plan.

Would it be worth it to switch to a moderate or deluxe resort for even 2 nights? Something a little more romantic than POP?!

I don't know why this thought just occurred to me.

If you are going with the free dining plan this is one time you might not want to do a split stay

To get the free dining for both, they will make you book two separate reservations (minimum 3 days each) and you will have to purchase another one day ticket again for the 2nd stay. You could always hold that ticket for another time, but it's going to add that much more $$$ to your stay.

If you're willing to give up the free dining for those 2 days though, you could book the 9/13-9/17 as free dining, then just get room only for the other two. You won't have dining for those days, but you can experience a different resort. Just be sure you get a ticket to cover the all the days for your entire stay with your first package....
