Would it be weird if I ordered an "unbirthday" cake?

BF's birthday was back in May. Since we're going to WDW this year (we haven't been there together since 1999), we decided that instead of celebrating his birthday in May, we can have dinner at a place of his choice at Universal or WDW (staying at Hard Rock 2 nights before going to WDW). We'll be there the last week of October.

We're really not big on having people sing happy birthday to us in restaurants or anything, but I thought it might be fun to order a cake for him, maybe when we go to Boma on our last night there.

Do you think it would be weird to call them and ask for a very belated birthday cake??

Or does anyone have any suggestions for me as far as what else I could do? We're staying 3 nights at POP, 2 nights at AKL. We have PS for Le Cellier, LTT (for MNSSHP), H&V (Fantasmic! package), and Boma. I'm thinking about suggestiong Tchoup Chop at Universal too.

Why not just have a nice dinner and enjoy the evening..May was a very long time ago.

No, not at all!!!

We order cakes around here for non-reasons all the time::yes::

I see nothing wrong with this, although I've read many posts from people who think it's unusual to celebrate well after a significant event. Our anniversary was in April, my daughter's birthday was in May, my husband's was in June, and mine was in July. Some of these events could not be celebrated together due to travel plans that separated our family. We decided that rather than purchasing gifts for all of these events, we'd put the money toward our trip and really do it up! We're not looking for anything special from anybody, but I don't see why it would be wrong to celebrate a very belated event (especially if it hadn't been acknowledged when it occured)!

An Unbirthday cake sounds like a great idea! Maybe you can let the restaurant know in advance, and get some cool CM to sing the Unbirthday song to your child! I know you said you're not big on having them sing Happy Birthday, but "A Very Merry Unbirthday" is a Disney song after all!

I think an unbirthday cake is a great idea !!!! What better place than at Disney. I think if you ordered this kind of cake they would have alot of fun creating it for you. If you do...post a pic of the cake. I would love to see how it turns out.
