A regular normal old-fashioned Band-Aid?

I just gave my self a wicked paper cut from a manila folder (ouch that hurts!! ). And when I went upstairs to get the first aid box, what do I find:

1 box of SpongeBob Squarepants Band-Aids
1 box of Scooby-Doo Band-Aids
1 box of Nexcare Tatoo waterproof Wild Animal Bandages

Now, my question is twofold;

Why ON EARTH do we need 3 different boxes of bandaids, and where in the world can I just find ONE plain one?? That's all, just one. I mean, here I am 36 years old, sitting here DISing with my fabulous SpongeBob Band-Aid which is fine, but tomorrow, for work?...

So, who took all my normal bandaids???

I had some Curaids around here somewhere, but my kids hid them from me. They think I'll go buy some more Harry Potter or Jimmy Neutron ones instead, if I can't find them. I'll find them.

Heehee! The nurse at my school (college) put a band aid on a cut of mine this past summer -- it had little Snoopys all over it.

I bought MYSELF a huge box of various sized REGULAR Band-aids last time I was at Costco, after I also got a deep paper cut in the crease of my baby finger and, had to wear a Mickey Mouse band-aid for a couple days!! Granted MM isn't bad and, I could've chosen The Wiggles or Winnie the Pooh but, some people just wouldn't understand! You're welcome to some of my regular band-aids!!

Not only do I have tons of regular band-aids in all sort of sizes, I also have gauze and various creams for scrapes and burns. I keep band-aids in my bag so I will always have them handy. I have burnt myself at work many times (as evident by the many scars on my arms) and first aid at work actually gave me a bunch of the stuff I have! So, if you need any regular looking band-aids come see me.

DocRafiki, do you need any Hello Kitty band-aids? I have some because they came with my Hello Kitty band-aid holder.

I have some regular ones for 'adult' cuts and dinosaur ones for the kids. Most of the regular ones are too big for little fingers and toes.

Well I know for a fact that we have the plain old fashioned kind in our first aid kit around here, but I told my 8 yr old to bring me one the other night, and sure enough he brought me a Harry Potter one. Oh well, he was being 'helpful'.
