Would I just be bugging these people, or should I be calling to confirm everything?

Kind of a weird thread title, but I have less than 4 weeks before the wedding and I was thinking about calling my photographer, videographer, officiant, dress steamer, and the service that is taking us to the court house just to make sure everything is all set. I haven't spoken to most of these people in over 3 months so should I be calling them now, wait until a week before, or not be worrying about it? I'm getting soooo anxious!

I would call and confirm! You are putting up the money and it is your big day, so rather be safe than sorry.
Case in point: I called California Grill seven days out to confirm our family dinner after our intimate, and they had us down for seven guests, not 11! Thank goodness I called or we would have never gotten in (especially with Wishes showing during our dining time).
Call now and also a week out. At least I would. The vendors should understand.

Thank you much! That was the one picture we felt like "cheeseballs" taking, but it ended up being our favorite.
I'm telling you, call and confirm EVERYTHING. Its much easier to deal with now than when you get there!

I would call and confirm everything! I called 2 different times for confirmations.... I had a similar problem regarding reservations... We had set-up a reservation at 1900 Park Fare for the morning after the wedding (Easter Sunday) for our immediate family - 20 people, and when I called they said our Banquet Manager cancelled the reservation!!! She made a mistake. Luckily, she was able to pull some strings with the Manager at the restaurant and still get us in at the time we wanted... She was worried b/c it was Easter Sunday and Spring BReak time... but she got us in.

Anyways - Yes!! Call and confirm everything and anything you feel needs confirming! If it makes you feel better - which I am sure it will, then go ahead!

Ashley...you mentioned having someone take you to the courthouse...can I ask how much this is costing you. We're still trying to figure out how we're getting there.
