so today i finally took a breather to check over the park hours and my ressies and after too many nights checking out reviews, decided that i want to go to the desert party. 1st try was unseccesful, 2nd time, all good!

now for the crazy part.... i have an ADR for dinner at le cellier, but after looking at the hours of the parks, i saw that the same night had an EMH for AKL, i have always wanted to go to AKL at night, so i booked an ADR for YAK & YETI,but have not yet cancelled my Le Cellier because there is no other availability for Le Cellier while we are there,I have never eaten at le cellier, what would YOU do :confused3:confused3

next dilema, I am traveling solo with 2 kids (8 and 10), I have an ADR for tepan edo(I am sure the kids will enjoy the show, but maybe not the food), but i also really want to eat at Kona for dinner(they want the kona cone) and booked there as well, I have to give up one, which one do you suggest i give up ?

help me dissers,i just can't decide:confused3

When we were at WDW in May we realized we were going to be late for our ADR at LeCellier. We tried at two different places - concierge and Guest Relations to cancel the ADR for something else. They both wouldn't do it! They said go anyways you need to try it at least once. We had a great meal.

But,that being said. You REALLY want AK at night then go and eat at Yak & Yeti. Which is more important? Seeing AK at night or the meal at LeCellier. Only you can answer that.

As for Teppan Edo our kids love it. If your kids like noodles or rice with veggies and meat they will like this.

Hope this helps a bit. :)

Hmm...that's a tough one and definitely a personal decision, but here's my two cents.
We just had our first dinner at Le Cellier a week ago today. I will admit it was very good, but not earth-shatteringly good. (we DID have that last week at Narcoossee's, Jiko, and Cali Grill) I think the reputation gets built up on the fact that it's so hard to get an ADR (in part because the restaurant is small). Yes, it was worth going for the experience, but on the other hand, how badly do you want to do AK at night? I never have, so I can't comment on the experience - although we did go to AKL one evening for dinner at Jiko and spent some time on the savanna balconies in the dark - pretty cool.

As for Teppan Edo - kids LOVE this place (mine were asking to come back before we even got out of the door!). There's plenty of rice, noodles, and veggies to eat along with the entree protein.
