No, I’m saying they feel the exactly the same wat you feel, but reverse the parks

Since we have a yearly allotment of points, I would be willing to just sit at the BC/V for a month in the winter-even if the parks were closed.

It would still be very fun IMO.

We enjoy non park trips particularly if we stay at a monorail resort or SSR OKW. If we don't think the parks would be fin we would still go and enjoy the sunshine and our Villa with some meals out and some balcony time watching the views. OKW in particular is beautiful for just sitting chilling maybe with a bottle of wine and a book. Especially after weeks of not getting off the doorstep.

I'm looking on all this as interim. I can't believe that we won't get back to normal eventually even if eventually is a few years ago. The spanish flu was gone within 18 months and they didn't have our scientific community. I refuse to believe this is forever.

No it won't. I think everyone should stay away, so when I go there won't be any waiting in line. So please stay home and be safe..lol...


On a more serious note, Disney is what you make of it. Waiting In lines, screaming kids, high priced food, etc. etc..whats fun about that. The fun parts are the special moments that you and your family create. Just my opinion..
I love Disney and DVC.. Can't wait for opening day..

I'm presently booked for March 2021, but will cancel it and take the loss of the banked points if there isn't a vaccine out and draconian social distancing, dining restrictions, ride restrictions reducing capacity to "if you're lucky" status, and low theme park admission rules are in place.

I've read the recent Orange County rules, and wonder how manageable lines would be for rides and shows if people are required to distance 6 feet. For example, the 50' long line for Haunted Mansion would have to extended to about 200' long because the space is narrow. Likewise, once you get in to the stretching room, instead of 60 people, you might have 15, greatly affecting capacity of the ride. The only way I see this working is if Disney greatly restricts the number of people admitted to the park, and makes every ride fast pass only. Likewise, imagine going to lunch at Columbia Harbor House, with its 9 ordering lines reduced to 5 and people required to stand 6' apart while in line. It's worse for table service restaurants, where half the tables would have to stay empty.

Am presently booked for June 21-Jul 10 at BLT, SSR and Vero, using 2019 points from two rentals that were canceled due to the Cov-19. They are Aug use year, and must be used by Jul 31. I hate FL in summer, but I am not going to lose these points!
