The AMA ought to recognize this Disney addiction we have as a disease, and treatment (trips to Disney, of course) should be covered by insurance!

DisneyDotty you're a genius! Treatment covered by insurance would mean we'd be able to return to WDW whnever we suffered setbacks.
I think quarterly treatments might kep me going!

We have APD (annual pass disease). Rehab is in Orlando.

Very funny. By the way my family and I think Disney's Very Contagious (we're also DVC members.)

My dh and I caught both of these last year, we're doomed!

Totally agree with everyone here!! We have been home almost a month and I can't shake my post Disney blues!! I keep trying to figure out a way to take a jaunt back there. So every morning I get on this computer and come here to the dis hoping to find something to satisfy this addiction until my next trip Usually it just makes me want to be there even more. Will next april ever get here??? I guess I am a hopeless disney addict wishing away my life by forever looking forward to my next trip. HELP!!!

So, what happens when DH and I are both addicts? All we ever talk about to anyone is Disney. We are quickly finding that our friends, who don't understand, are spending less time with us. It's almost like we have become Disney Snobs and if people can't carry a decent Disney conversation, then we are not interested. And quite frankly, they are really not interested in anything we have to say either!

In the original post I mentioned listening to Disney podcasts. I also watch Disney video podcasts. And yours just happens to be one of them. I absolutely love the video of test track and the monorail ride from the cabin thank you so much for taking this addiction of mine and toying with it by hanging out little tastes of the magic along the way.

I have cetainly been accused of being addicted to Disney... Friends always say.. You know that there are other places to go other than FLA and I say yep California, Hong Kong, Paris, Etc.... and of course DCL....

You're so right. Try going to Europe to escape the addiction, you can't !! Try going to Asia to escape the addicition, you can't !! Jump on a home-made raft and start paddling through the Atlantic to escape the addiciton, you can't !!!!!!!!!

We just got back from our first trip in December, today I installed a countdown timer on my desktop for our next trip, 316days 7hours 21minutes. My family is trying to tell me they're not as addicted as I am, Yeah Right. At least I have the DIS

I can relate. My next one is 15 days away (as you can see from the ticker). Right after we come back I will start my next ticker which will be counting down 36 days until our next vacation and when we come back from that one, I will start my next ticker which will be approx. 45 days.... What do you think? Do I qualify for recovery?

I am definatley DisneySick. We were not going to be going to Disney this summer...but we just could not stand not going...LOL At this moment I am listening to Tapestry of Dreams on D-Magic Radio and looking at my Disney photos. For the next 139 days,live365.com the DIS, and my photos will help keep my disneysickness at bay.

What do I mean? Well, you go there you feel the magic, the wonder and then you come back home..... to your job, and cleaning, and the real world.... and you come off your high.... and you find that in a day or so all you can think about is your next trip there and preparing for it...maybe you watch the DVD set, or the holiday shows, or listen to podcasts, post on some Disney bulletin boards, but they just hide the hunger momentarily. Anybody else out there know what I mean?

Know what you mean? I'm living it right now! This is worse than post-partum depression! I'm going nuts trying to figure out when I can get back!!
