Would anyone recommend the Fish & Chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop?

Last month and earlier this month when I was at WDW one of the things I wanted to try was the Fish & Chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop, however for whatever reason I just never got around to ordering some. Although when I am back at WDW this coming December I plan to order them, so for those who have been there would you recommend them?

Well, considering my husband likes fish and chips (and has eaten them in Merry Olde England) and refuses to order them at any other place except Disney World, I'd say he recommends them.

Seriously, he says that having fish and chips anywhere else in the US would be awful. Just like Disney World has spoiled us from ever going to another theme park, the Disney World fish and chips spoiled him from anything else.

NOTE: This is a small QS stand to the right of Rose & Crown.
The menu is ONLY fish & chips. But, oh-so-yummy.There
are sides of chips or of shortbread. The only other menu items
are soda-coffee-tea and Bass Ale or Harp Beer. Having Fish and
Chips often in London, this compares favorably. This is our top
QS in Epcot-WS. Definitely worth a stop.

We love the fish and chips and always stop by and enjoy sitting on the bench by the lake for a rest with a couple of drinks from the Rose & Crown pub

I had wanted to try the fish and chips for a long time but the lines were always too long. Last trip the line was way down and my DH and I both got the fish. We were both sick for two days. They kept the fish way too long in the hot sun and it did not move fast enough to remain fresh. The fish was just piled up on top of each other. Who knows how long the lower level of fish sat there. There was very little seating and we had to sit on the curb.

I'm puzzled by this post. I think it's very good fish and chips - I've eaten there at least once or twice each trip on my 6+ trips to WDW. It's one of my "never miss" places to eat at Epcot - it's yummy.

How could the fish be kept "in the hot sun" anyways? They prepare it indoors, in the shade! [Maybe this poster means it sat under the heat lamp too long.] I've been there at least a dozen times, and it's always been freshly prepared, crispy and delicious. (I did have some soggy fish and chips at Raglan Road one time, which was not appealing.)

There isn't a lot of seating nearby; maybe eight or nine tables around the corner, which are always pretty full. But if you're lucky, you can snag a seat! I go in October, and have usually been luck enough to find a seat.

I just don't think they're that good. They're okay. On par with Columbia Harbour House.

For truly good fish and chips at WDW, I prefer Cooke's of Dublin in DTD.

We LOVE IT! This is a MUST do lunch for us every trip to EPCOT.

My DM a Newfoundlander loves the Fish here. Of course she says its too much but she says it is the closest thing to authetic newfoundland fish, newspaper ,
of course, she has had outside Newfoundland

Yum! I think I might be trying this on my next trip to Disney now. Its always so hard to give up a TS credit in Epcot because of the many wonderful restaurants but those look very tasty! Does it come with tartar sauce?
