Let me preface this by saying that I know there are fairly mixed reviews out there, and that I am a very easy going, and easily pleased person. Our family really enjoyed our dinner at CRT last August during
free dining. We were a party of 7, DH and I, our 3 kids 11, 7, and 4, and my inlaws. We didn't really have any expectations going in, and we were very happy with what we experienced. We did have quite a lenghty wait for our 8:05 dinner reservations, but Cinderella spent a fair bit of time with the kids, talking, and giving autographs, and DD posed for the one pic package, and the two boys together for the second (since we were a bigger party we recieved two packages). The kids liked the lobby which was really quite neat with little touches like mice up in the ceiling, and a suit of armour which the boys loved. After probably 45 minutes we went upstairs where all the girls got wands (even me and mil) and the boys got swords (even DH and fil). The staff were very nice, and joked with the kids about not letting their dad get too wild with his sword. We were seated right away, and got bread iirc.....I'm sorry to say I have very little recollection of what exactly we ordered.....mine was salad, followed by some meat with rice and asparagus, but that's all I remember. It was good, but obviously not outstanding. The service was fine, but not outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the little singing and dancing show that the fairy godmother and mice put on, and they came around to the tables and hugged the kids and talked a minute. It was also a lovely atmosphere, and very neat to be in the castle. We got done just in time to snag a spot at wishes. I wouldn't go back again, but not necessarily because we didn't enjoy it, more because we want to try other things, and 2 TS (or the oop price) is pretty hefty. I would definately recommend it to experience once though, both my DD, and our boys really thought it was neat, and to be honest, so did DH and I, and the inlaws. I only have the one pic, and it isn't really food, it is DS's favorite part of the meal, he loved the little chocolate crown. Enjoy your dinner!!!
