Our cat - who some of you may recall is a bit of a nutter has been sitting under our Christmas tree and has been chewing on the branches (its a fake too) and now he has just managed to completely topple it over - everything has fallen off and some of my glass baubles have smashed.

Needless to say the cat is in disgrace and has been banished to his room!

DH is trying to put the tree back up now, it was so pretty too.
So if anyone would like a cat there's one going spare at our house at the moment!
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

My cats (still kittens really) are banned from the living room until the tree is down!

Well I would love to ban the kids from the lounge :teeth: I cant remember how many times baby has had the baubles off the tree :( And then there is the staff who keeps trying to get under with all the presents and the last culprit Holly the rottweiler who just has to walk past and wag her tail (she still has her tail) and knock everything off the tree, I have given up even trying to get it looking right.

my mum has just got a loopy springer spaniel pup and as a result they have decided not to put up a tree this year :rolleyes1
at least my kids are old enough to leave the tree alone :)

What is it with cats. When I lived at home my mum's cat would spend all Christmas mesmerised by the tree and would try to knock only the chocolate decorations off. When DD's were little the tree got knocked over so many times that we didn't put lights on it for years and one year I put the tree inside the playpen

Hope your tree recovers Gem.

Poor Fraggle :)

i have 4 cats one of which likes to climb the branches of our trees. (we have 2 christmas trees, one in the lounge and one in the dining room). But the worst culprit is my springer spaniel she has eaten most of the chocolate decorations. We have found wrappers in the garden and the ones she cannot get off of the tree she has eaten and left most of the wrapper still on the tree. The kids are sooo annoyed with her. :rotfl2:
