The specific time schedules for parades and big shows change often and are only released in brochures a couple of weeks at a time, so chances are they will be different when you go anyway. I pull them off the web shortly before I go to get any last minute changes. I just jot them down in my own shorthand on a calendar. It really doesn't take that long since it is often the same several days in a row. Then I pick up one of the official times guides when we get to the park to verify what I've written down. The entertainment schedule such as school groups is only available on a daily basis as far as I know. Anything you get today will be worthless tomorrow.
The information would be much more organized if you bought (or borrowed from the library) one of the excellent guidebooks that are available. They will give you all sorts of tidbits that the maps and brochures won't reveal.
I've been to WDW probably 30 times and still glance through the guidebooks from time to time. The ones in the library may be a year or two old, but are a good place to start. You can often find used ones on eBay and discounts on the previous years models on other websites.
The kids also really love reading them on the drive down to Orlando. An excellent investment for some quiet time.
