My daughter was sick all weekend so I hadn't been into my office since Wed. Waiting for me this morning were cards postmarked from Cumberland, MD; Coral Springs, FL; Akron, OH; Carol Stream, IL; Columbus, OH, Charleston, SC; Pittsburg, PA; Phildadelphia, PA; another Akron, OH; Thorofare, NJ; Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; Chattanooga, TN; and Tooele, UT!!!!!!

And for the record three of the envelopes are lime green!

Thanks everyone!! My little brother will love these!!! And I know my mother is taking comfort in all of your prayers and good wishes, this is very hard on her but she loves hearing the updates on this!!!

Today he got cards postmarked from: Birmingham, AL; Oakland, CA and (The postmark is messed up and I can't read it all but I think the city is Monmouth, isn't that east coast?

I think he's gotten around 30 so far (that's not including those that sent multiple cards together) Michael is fine, he's busy with boy scout and trying to get ahead with school (the school district will provide a tutor once he's well enough to study) and my mother is stressed out as you can imagine. I think she tries not to think about it too much, but how can you not. She's a nurse so I'm not sure if that helps or hurts how she's looking at his surgery. She's been trying to fatten him up a little, he's a skinny kid and at his last open heart he lost 6 pounds before he regained consciousness.
