Would a drink/driving charge mean you couldn't get a visa?

Sorry Visa advice again!

I have been asked to find out if a 3 year old drink driving ban would mean you automatically didn't get a visa?? The person had a 1 year loss of licence,not a prison term.

I have looked on the website this morning but can't find info on this.Does anyone know anyone who has had a DD ban and still got a visa?

Otherwise should they declare this when they re-new their present visa that was for an an old offence they previously had no trouble obtaining a visa for??

Would appreciate any feedback::yes::

Thanks Kaylee:wave2:

Has anyone else any experience with this pretty please?:(

Hi,

I applied for a Visa several years ago as I had a DD offence - this is classed as a criminal offence and not a motoring offence.

I received a Visa with no problems.

Hope this helps.
