This December will be our first trip. My daughter LOVES all things Christmasy! At first my DH and I were thinking of having a night out without her and seeing the CP, but now I'm wondering if she would enjoy that, and then we could do something else "adult" later. Would it be boring to a child that age? How long is it? We would be going while Steven Curtis Chapman is there, if that matters at all. If you have any imput on this, I sure would appreciate it!

I brought my family to CP on christmas eve last year. If I had to do it again, I probably would have done it without my 5 yr olds. One of them fell asleep in my arms so it was pretty uncomfortable the whole time. My other five year old was well behaved but was definately bored after 15 minutes. I think i woud have appreciated it more without the distraction of my little one asking me how much longer it was going to be. I am sure you will enjoy it whatever you decide. It really is a nice show.

As said, it is a great show, but I think too that it might be a bit boring for a youngster. However, all kids are different.

You are going at the most magical time of the year at Disney, make those lifetime memories with your first trip there. :thumbsup2

And welcome to the DIS.
