Worth visiting BG Tampa if you've been to BG Williamsburg?

We'll be in Orlando in April and have a season pass to BG Williamsburg which seems to give us 50% off to BG Tampa (and Sea World). Just wondering if anyone who has been to Williamsburg feels that its worth the trip from Disney to visit BG Tampa (dad and daughter are really into coasters, I would go for the animals) Any thoughts about Sea World would also be appreciated. Thanks.

I definitely think it's worth it!!!I love the Virginia park as well as the Tampa park,I probably give a slight edge to the Williamsburg park but that probably has something to do with the fact that I've gone 50 times to the Tampa park for every time I've gone to the Virginia park, but both Busch parks as well as the Sea World parks are must-do's.Sea World is a bit different in that it's more about the animal shows and less about rides and coasters

I don't know what kind of pass you have for BGW but since you're also interested in Sea World maybe you can do what I did when I first went to the Virginia park.Back then I had the Silver passport for Sea World and Busch gardens Tampa.I paid $11.52 monthly with their EZ Pay program, but when I learned I might get the opportunity to do the VA park I made a stop at Sea World Orlando and upgraded my Silver pass to the Platinum by basically just upgrading the pass and went from paying $11.52 a month to $12 even.By doing that I got into the VA park by just paying .48 more cents a month and also gives me entry to all 8 Busch parks and now will also include Sea World's new waterpark Aquatica which is opening this March. Those prices are probably different now as this was back about 5 years ago.

Definitely worth the trip. They are very different parks.

The 2-year all parks passes are a real bargain.

We really enjoyed both, and we spent time at both in 104º weather! Ugh. The animals in Tampa are awesome, as are the coasters (we're coaster junkies--see my sig!). The "nice" restaurant, I think it's called Colony House, is terrific and the prices aren't very high. We were pleasantly surprised. We had a table overlooking the "savannah" and watched giraffes and gazelles roam as the sun set. We went about an hour before park closing. It was awesome. We also loved Williamsburg. The theming is terrific and the coasters are great. I also really enjoyed the shows in Williamsburg. We didn't do any of the shows in Tampa because we were always on the other side of the park when we realized that the show we wanted to see was about to start, and there was no time to get there. So, yes, Busch Gardens is definitely worth a visit if you've been to the other park.

Thanks everyone. -

(englishteacha - I hope it won't be 104 degrees in March, but you never know.) DD and DH are excited about the coasters at Busch Gardens so I guess we'll try to plan a day during our Orlando visit - sometimes its hard to leave Disney when you're onsite and the Mouse has you, but it might be a good thing too!
