Worth the Reservation??

Money is tight and I am wondering if these restraunts are worth the money and reservation. I have a DD12 and DH. DD is a pickie eater most of the time, DH will eat most, and I will eat practically whatever is given. So can anyone help on just saying if these restraunts are worth the money, reservation, and experience.

Restraunts we booked:
1.Japan 2:40- a Thursday
2.Morocco 2:40- a Friday
3.UK Rose and Crown - a Saturday

And if we do cancel one of these if Germany worth it?

Which restaurant in Japan? Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining?

Teppan Edo is very fun and I think your family would enjoy it. It's not really *my* cup of tea, but I seem to be in the minority since my entire (extended) family seems to place it at the top of their list for favorite places to eat while at WDW.

I can't speak for Tokyo Dining, though it gets rave reviews.

Morocco looks really fun to me, but I dropped it from my list due to not-so-great reviews. I love the idea of the bellydancers during dinner.

Rose and Crown - probably good, but I can think of a lot of other restaurants that would make my top 10 before R&C if I were paying out of pocket.

Other restaurants you might consider:
Biergarten in Germany - GREAT food and fun atmosphere.
Tutto Italia in Italy - really good Italian food in a beautiful environment.

Edited to add: I just saw your question about Biergarten in Germany. YES-YES-YES!!! Definitely worth the money and the food is great. My very picky eaters decided it was one of their absolute favorites.

Why don't you check out the menus on allears.net? That will give you a good idea of the pricepoint and possiblities for your picky eater.

My views on your choices:

Teppan Edo: Benihana style cooking. We liked it very much--thought it was very healthy eating and entertaining.
Marrakesh: I liked this better than DH....though he REALLY liked the bellydancer
Rose and Crown: What's not to like about drinking a black and tan and sitting by the water kicking back? The food is average/good.

Thank you both soo much. We really wanted to do Germany but is the smell of SauerKraut too overpowering?? And I am pretty sure we are staying at Tokyo Dining. I just know it isn't the one outside we are in the buliding above the gift shop. And for Morocco is it too much lamb??

For morrocco, what about doing the tangeriene cafe (counter service) instead? Food is good, plenty of it, and the price isn't too high. That way you could get your lamb fix. Only thing is, no belly dancers, but if your after just food I think it's a good choice.

When we took our granddaughter, her biggest concern about eating in Germany was the potential smell of sauerkraut. She was only seven at the time so we told her that if she entered the restaurant and it smelled too bad, she and her mother could leave and go somewhere else. She was fine so the smell wasn't too bad for her.

For Morocco, I can guarantee you that no one in my party of four had any lamb whatsoever and we all had different meals.

In Morocco, I much prefer Tangeriene Cafe to Marrakesh. The food we ordered at Marrakesh was a bit bland. The food at Tangeriene was much more flavorful. I really like the shwarma platter. You may have chicken, lamb or some of both.

I honestly don't remember smelling sauerkraut at all in Biergarten, and - since I hate the smell - it's something I'd probably remember. The food was awesome! I even (accidentally) ate some mashed-potaotes that had sauerkraut in it and it was excellent...I went back for 2nds on that one.

As for Marakesh versus Tangereine Cafe, I've eaten at neither; however, more than once I've heard people say that the counter service was much better than the sit-down restaurant, so I'd be inclined to take that advice.

I would give up the Restaurant Marrakesh. It wasn't bad, but if I were paying out of pocket, I would not think it is worth the $$$

Tangeriene Cafe gives you a nice ambiance & good food w/o the high price tag so I'd do that instead.

But honestly if you're trying to save money, I would eat at CS in the parks and then do some dining outside of disney for TS dinners. Paying OOP, very few disney restaurants are a good value IMO.

Germanys Biergarten is amazing! It is a must do for my family trips. Plus there is entertainment at the Biergarten. It is an overall great atmosphere.

I would pick Biergarten over all of your other choices - great food, atmosphere, and entertainment!!!

The Biergarten is my husband's favorite place so we go there on every trip. I've never noticed the smell of saurkraut. Perhaps you could ask to be seated far from the buffet area. Now, if someone brings a whole dish of saurkraut to the table - I can't help you.

In my opinion Restaurant Marakesh was awful and I really wanted to like it. Service was bad, food was bland and the belly dancer was out for about 2 minutes and we could not see her at all from our table. Tangierine Cafe is a thousand times better.

We also love Biergarten, great atmosphere, good food, I could go for pretzel bread and soup alone but there are so many other tasty options. Definitely recommend it.

Biergarten is the only place on your list that I've been, and the sauerkraut wasn't an issue at all. There are so many other good smelling things that I didn't even notice the sauerkraut at all.

Of the other three, the Rose & Crown is the least expensive, so I think it would be the best choice while paying out of pocket, especially if you go for lunch.
