so me and my wife are spending 3 days in disney. first day will be all magic kingdom, 2nd day we wanted to do a combo of morning typhoon lagoon and epcot in the afternoon/evening/night, and the 3rd day universal studios. is it worth the price and time to do typhoon lagoon from opening to about 2, 230? then head to epcot for the afternoon/evening/night? a little back story...we did epcot 80 percent last october in one day, and my wife said this is our last trip to disney for a few years (she wants to travel elsewhere lol)

If that's all the time you have than, Sure....I like to spend a whole day, to relax & unwind, & I couldn't do that in 3 or 4 hours, but to each his/her own.

Yes, We never stay more then 3 hours anyway. We always get there at opening, rent towels, lockers, find our chairs, do every thing we want to do multiple times and leave between 1 and 1:30. We love it as much as the other parks. Busses however, always seem to take FOREVER to get to and from. I would highly recommend, if you don't have a car, to take uber. It's quick, easy and worth it.

we go early to Typhoon, do the "rides" a few times each and leave early afternoon before/when the crowds start getting big....never have done a full day in the 5-6 times we've gone.

ok, so if we get there right at opening, 10am, and stay for 3 hours, 3 and a half tops, then head back to hotel to change and head to epcot, that should be ok?

I think you'd be fine.

I enjoy the water parks and always arrived for opening.

By the time I've climbed the stairs multiple times, ridden the slides and done a couple of circuits floating around the lazy river, it's usually around 1:30 and I've had enough fun being soaking wet. Time do dry off and move on to other things.

Our plan is to do 3 - 4 hours, return to hotel for a rest/nap and then we are going to MNSSHP. Not sure any of us would like to spend more than 4 hours at a water park....but that is just us.

My plan is water park 10am till about 2 then hotel for nap and then a resort for dinner. The 2nd water park day will be same except we will go to Disney Spring for dinner

I only planned to spend 2-3 hours there but had to drag my son out when it closed at 5. He loved it!

Same here. I never want to spend more than a few hours there but undoubtedly we usually end up spending a whole day there. It also wipes us out. I don't think I could do full on Epcot into the evening after a water park.

This is what I was wondering. Thought we would go to TL in the morning then go to a park in the evening but dont want to be wiped out and tired.

I wouldn't, but I guess if you love water parks it's a consideration for some. I would rather go to a park, or relax at the hotel pool

I love water parks, but consider travel time to and from the parks. If only having a few hours downtime, I would hang around the resort pool.

We only do mornings at the water parks. Get there at 10 am, usually done with slides/swimming around noon-1 pm, have a QS lunch and leave. By then, we can do everything we want to do before the lines really start building. We then rest, wash up and are usually out for dinner and some park touring.

We always just do a few hours and that is plenty of time for us. I would go right at opening, stay a few hours and then spend the majority of the day at Epcot.

This is exactly what we did in Sept. We went to TL from 10-2:00 (ate at Leaning Palms for lunch), and had our fastpasses set in Epcot starting at 2. We did a few rides, and eat dinner around the world. The kids did get pretty tired (we had a double stroller for them at ages 7 & 4), so they just kind of hung out while we walked a bit and ate. If that's your only Epcot day and you are all really excited for it, it may not work the best (especially if you want to hit multiple Tier 1 rides). For us, I thought it was perfect! As it is also a late open, and not as necessary to "rope drop" as the regular parks, we used this day after our later night watching fireworks so we could sleep in a bit.
Now, this works best if you have car, as others have noted, the buses are a pain to the waterparks. If you don't I would uber. I would also just bring your clothes with you, put them in a locker, change at the waterpark and head right to Epcot.

Yep! My husband and I do this all the time. We rarely ever stay at a water park beyond 2 or 3:00. We typically rent one of the umbrellas and just hang out and relax in the shade, maybe walk around a bit and do the lazy river. Then at 2:00 0r 3:00 we head back for a shower and maybe a nap and then we go to Epcot or Disney Springs for the night.

Agree with the poster above, don't take WDW buses! Takes forever!!

We always take a cab, it's so much easier and quicker.

We can spend 3-4 hours at TL, no problem. We love the surf pool, that's where we spend most of our day.
