Worth getting an AP pass

I'm a little confused about the AP discounts. We will be there for 5 days and need 2 rooms. Were planning on getting a 4 or 5 Ultimate pass. Going Nov.19-23 2003
**Can we get a discount on 2 rooms if we only purchase 1 AP pass?
**Can I book a room if I don't have an AP pass already?

Is it worth the extra $200.We will not be able to return in the next year.Thank you for your help.

I would call and see if your dates are even available before you buy the AP. AP rooms were very limited when they were released yesterday.

Yes, you can get up to 3 rooms with an AP discount.

Yes, you don't need to have the AP to book, but you will need it to check in.

I believe you can buy the voucher on-line at the WDW web site, and then activate it when you get there. You can also buy them at the Orlando airport, and at the park gates when you arrive.

If you have the Disney Club you can get an AP discount - I think it works out, give or take, about 5% - it's the only way to get an AP discount that I know of.

In your case with no Disney store, you'll just need to ring Disney direct with your membership number to purchase the voucher instead of via their website.
