Awesome deal! I spent all last night trying to convince my husband it was a good idea to book on expedia.co.uk, and todayI have convinced him! But when I go to use the promo code it has expired. Too bad because it would have saved us $500.

Were you able to book using a Canadian credit card? How did you make the reservation?

OP here Yes, I was able to book online with a Canadian credit card. I called Visa ahead of time to make sure the transaction wouldn't be blocked. They did call me back the day after to verify that the transaction was made by me so they check and re-check. I'm still waiting for my WDW confirmation # as it's not on my Expedia itinerary so I e-mailed them and they are waiting for the # from WDW so they'll be able to give it to me (need it to link ressie in MDE and make FP+ ). Since this has happened to a few other people on the budget board thread and I have a lot of time ahead of me, I'm not worried at all. The FABFEB10 code has expired though, too bad... But it's still a VERY good deal anyway. It was for our family suite at ASMu but it doesn't look like the regular rooms at the value resorts (and some moderate) are as discounted. Many people have gotten great deals on Deluxe hotels (out of our league...), some as much as 50%! And I was wrong about my actual savings, I forgot to factor in the exchange rate for our initial rack rate (and we all know the $CAN is not doing too well right now) : we are paying 800$ less than our original rack rate reservation! So it's MUCH better than the only promo available right now for Aug/Sept, which is 10% on value and free Memory Maker when you book 4 nights and at least 2-day tickets. We're going to buy tickets from UT so we'll save even more!

I've also booked this way and found that the best savings are at peak weekend days.
