We will be heading to WDW for a week in late Nov, early Dec, and staying at a DVC Resort (without a car).
With some help from Mom and Dad, DS9 and DD8 have finished reading all the Harry Potter books, and have seen all the movies.
My DW said that it would be a great time to take the kids for a day to WWHP.
I agree, but have two concerns.
The first is financial. I roughly estimate that heading over to US/IOA would cost us an additional $500 or more (round trip Taxi ~100, one day tickets ~320, souvenirs ~100).
The second is that I don't think the kids would like to ride DD or FG, due to darkness, spiders & dementors. That would leave one gentle rollercoaster, the FG Queue Line, shops, Butterbeer, and the rest of IOA.
We have been to WDW a couple of times, and the kids would probably like something new, but I'm not sure it would be worth it, at least this year.
I have gotten a lot of info from this discussion group (thanks to all), but still undecided.
I know everyone is different, but has anyone faced a similar situation, and can provide some input to help us out.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks.
