Ate at Coral Reef in November for lunch.

Husband got the strip steak. Looked & tasted like it had been boiled in water.

Other peoples kids sitting, literally, on the tables by the tank. I think there was even some feet on the tables as well. Parents, where are you?:confused3

Waitress could have been better, there were 6 of us. I don't think she had the experience with the bigger tables.

So...that was the worst Epcot TS for us.

Le Cellier for us this past March. We were really happy to be able to get the ressie, and then the food was an utter letdown. The service was quite good though. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, but we are skipping it this December.

Up until this year, it would have been Marrakesh. Sadly, in Feb. we had a terrible dinner at Rose and Crown. (I adored the place until then.) Maybe it was because of the timing, late dinner. Not sure, but it was the worst service and worst food we've ever gotten there. We won't be going back anytime in the near future. We'll hit the CS there instead. Next trip, we're adding another dinner at Coral Reef since we still absolutely love that place.

I had to vote for Biergarten...I actually liked the food, but hated sitting with strangers for dinner, hated all the noise (I much prefer restaurants where you can talk to each other with a normal volume of voice), and I got horribly sick to my stomach later on that night. Coral Reef would be second due to a bad server.

Although, out of the list, we have only eaten at:
Le Cellier, Teppan Edo, Nine Dragons, Coral Reef, Akershus, Chef de France and Garden Grill...I would have to say that the worst food among these, hands down, is the Garden Grill. The food was awful :crazy2:. The characters were great. But I cannot justify going back since we ate very little.

Our worst - or at least most disappointing - TS meal in the WS so far was at Chefs de France. Apps were good, entrees were not - neither of us ate much of them - desserts were ok. Crowded, noisy, had a fairly long wait to get in even with an ADR. Just all around not very good. It is not fine French dining. It is a French Applebee's. We'll go back eventually, but for lunch and not until we've done other things.

Just a side note about San Angel Inn since so many people berate it: we've had decent meals at San Angel Inn with good food and good service and will certianly be back.

Hmmm, I had the exact same experience when I ate there too. We finished right as Illuminations was starting and I knew I was in trouble before it was over. NOT good. I liked the entertainment but the food made me really sick and our waitress was useless.

I voted for Nine Dragons and San Angel Inn. We ate at Nine Dragons a long, long time ago and the food was horrible and we haven't been back since. A couple of years ago we ate at San Angel Inn for our anniversary dinner and we were so rushed through the meal. We hadn't finished out appetizers and the food was there, had to ask for drink refills. Waiter brought out check before we even ordered dessert (we were on the old dining plan). I was very disappointed because the atmosphere is so good.

I picked San Angel Inn.

People always seem to say, well, it's real Mexican cuisine and maybe you don't appreciate it... :snooty:

Bull.

I'm from Texas, born and bred, and I could tell you a little something about the various regional cuisines that are lumped into the 'Mexican' category, authentic and Americanized both - but none of them highlights rubbery beef, hard-edged tortillas, crispy (!) rice, or stuff drowned in Ro-Tel puree straight out of the can.

We have eaten at Le Cellier, Chefs de France, San Angel, Marakesh and Coral Reef.

Out of those, Coral Reef was the worst experience. Service was meh and the food was nothing to write home about. I think San Angel and Chefs are the only ones we would return to and Le Cellier if the hype ever dies down.

I voted for Garden Grill, but I haven't tried Coral Reef or San Angel Inn (those seem to have the highest scores).

Well you put ND and TE together but they should be separate...ND was the most disgusting meal ever...TE was not bad but nothing like our places at home.

Sorry sorry sorry!:rolleyes1 it only gives you spots for 12 choices and there are 14 restaurants, so I grouped the countries together.:goodvibes

I voted for Teppan Edo. We too, were expecting more of a Benihana type food. Worst - meal - ever. To be fair we have not eaten at all the resaurants around the world. Just a few. We're trying Nine Dragons for the Candlelight Processional. I've heard good and bad. We'll go and see for ourselves.

It breaks my heart that San Angel serves Tostitos and has switched to a menu that is not well received (where oh where has my 'Plato Mexicano gone?) Going to SAI has always been a tradition, but I wish they would realize their mistakes and make some changes.
