I forgot to say this. I think your lying about what happened to you lossing your big toe. If this was true it would have been on Orlandosentinal.com, the police & paramedics should have been called & the ride would have had to been stoped.

Basically what I am saying is, I think some of what you said is not true & your trying to get attention.

When I read the first two posts from CR Resort Fan 4 Life, I thought they were playing along, illustrating the way anytime someone posts something bad about their experience at WDW several people jump right in and basically call them a liar. I thought it was pretty funny till I realized that is actually what they were doing for real.

I'm still mad that on our trip last year, none of the characters came over to me and patted me on the head during the parade!

OMG this is the funniest thread I've read on these boards, especially Twende's reply! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You guys have sick senses of humor!

The sad thing is, these complaints of mine were really exaggerated complaints of real posts on these boards over the years.

No lids on the drinks at DAK led to some nice clothes being ruined,
People and children in flipflops getting stubbed/broke toes or even feet stuck,
tiles missing from the roof ruined someones trip,
No free refils at CS restaurants,
POC being closed has ruined a trip,
etc....

yes it was a joke, a joke to jab at the silly complaints that pop up here on the DIS. I have not been to WDW since Jan. I will not be back until Dec.
My trip in Jan. was perfect. It was Brazil week too, and even though many people complain about Brazil week, I have decided thats the best time to go. (hubba hubba!) (if you know what I am talking about!!!)

Hey! I did have a palmetto bug in my room once! :rotfl: I thought it was dead, but on the last day I looked closer and realized it was moving it's legs. LOL. We live in FL though, so bugs don't bother me. They're a fact of life.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Those whiny, complaining posts always drive me crazy too. I mean give me a break, my family was there during Hurricane Frances (happened right in the middle of our trip :sad2: ) and we didn't complain nearly as much as some ppl on here do about something like not getting enough towels one day out of the trip.

to the OP
they should have comp'ed you with a golden refillable mug, good anywhere, for life, and started a toe trading shop, vs. pin trading...
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:
you really had me going, nearly choked on the coffee laughing to death. :surfweb:

People we need some Lysol here!

Where are all the folks who douse their rooms with Lysol?
Maybe they have some of those spare sheets they brought from home in sealed plastic, we can put them on the floor to protect us! ;)
This thread is great, thoroughly enjoying it!

This is too funny! As I read the OP all I could say to my husband was that the Lysol Crazies were going to go skitters over this one! Not that being a Lysol Crazy is a bad thing... It's a pet name I've given a few friends of mine, actually. We all need someone to get rid of the germs for us now don't we? Thanks for the good fun, one and all!

Oh, I already have one of those. I bought it at Disney's Vero Beach Resort back in 1999. It has mickey and minnie and the American Flag and says Walt Disney World Resort on it. It has no date or hotel name. I have been using it ever since. Every hotel that has a self service drink station takes them. I even pull into McD's on the trip down and fill up at their self service drink station. I was surprised to see it work there too. pirate:

Too bad. I wanted to see if you wanted to hang out with us on our Sept. trip. (Refer to the "What is the most controversial subject" thread.) I think you would be great fun!

Canda, you know what would have made your trip so much better? If you would have tried ALL of the resort pools. That way you could experience a new one each day!!! ;)

This thread is too funny!

Just read the first post. Sounds like a better trip than my last one. When I went on Space Mountain, the lights must have blown a fuse. I couldn't see anything while on the ride. This caused me to drop my wallet which I was trying to check during the ride to see if I had enough money to eat afterwards.

Then, they let mice run loose in a theatre while I was watching a movie. It was all blurry. They had glasses for people with bad eyesight but mine is 20/20 so I didnt use them, and it was still blurry.

Then I got on the train in Magic Kingdom to take me back to my hotel. It never stopped there. They must have passed the stops and just brought us back to the main entrance to MK again.

I'm never going back.

Ok, maybe after my Oct trip....

:crazy2:

You're telling me... When I was there I tried to take the monorail to MGM Studios and it kept taking me to Epcot and straight back to the Transportation Center! Just my luck! It HAD to be broken that day. After taking the bus to MGM, all my favorite rides had closed!

ET, Back To The Future, and Jaws were nowhere to be found! GRRR! So after talking to the employees, I was told I need to go to Universal. That's just crap. So I went to the parking lot and NONE of the buses went to Universal!

What...do they expect me to walk there?

that does bring up one of my best kept secrets to WDW......
I stay at the Comfort Inn in Kiss. then I drive to the Poly to park and eat breakfast. I fill up my mug at Capt. Cooks, then I go to the Hawaii building and someone will come out the door to let me in. There is a nice lounge up there with free breakfast. pirate: I do make a pool stop to rest when at MK, If I go to Epcot, I do the same at YC, and Storm-a-long bay. :stir:

Canda, you rock! :cheer2: I can't tell you how much money you just saved me for our upcoming trip! I'm just going to modify you tip slightly by swinging by that free lounge for afternoon snacks, too. I figure if I make myself a doggie bag for both breakfast and appetizers, and smuggle those extras into the parks, I won't have to spend hardly any money at all on meals. Woo hoo!!!!!!

Now see, why don't the guidebooks include the really helpful tips? That's why I come to the DIS! :woohoo:
