Gosh, i really like "Lovin You" by Minnie Riperton.

HATE that song (not sure if this is the name of it) Long Way Home It's like, "Take the long way home, take the long way home" and has a very annoying harmonica playing along, or an instrument that sounds like one. Just for the record, i do like the sound of a harmonica in songs, just not this song. Well, i hate this song anyway.

Take the Long Way Home is by Supertramp. I love them & I love that song!

Another one that just dawned on me from the same era as Billy Don't Be A Hero is "Timothy". Does anyone remember this? It's about three guys trapped in a mine collapse. Two make it out, but Timothy is never found. Let's just say that his disappearance enabled the other two to survive for several weeks, since they made nice steaks from his body.

Who would write a song like that, and where do you suppose they got their inspiration?

They backtracked and later claimed that Timothy was a mule.
