OK, in preparation for a poll, how about some nominations for worst restaurant at WDW?

I'll start with a few suggestions:
Big River Grille & Brew Works
Fultons
Tony's Town Square
McDonalds
Coral Reef

What say all?

I think "worst" is in the eye of the beholder. We've eaten at Coral Reef twice, and both times had a very pleasant experience. Food and service were both good.

In fact, we've booked it again for a trip in January.

Jeff, you mean to tell me that you haven't been to San Angel in Mexico yet???

Definitely a stick-to-the-margarita type of restaurant!!!:rotfl2:

I have been to many reataurants in Disney and have never had a bad meal. I have and a couple that were just OK, but can't be considered worst.

The worst meal I've had was at Coral Reef. I had a fish dish that was so salty it was downright inedible. I second San Angel Inn. Such a pretty place for such awful food.

Actually I have. I'll add it to the poll although its not on the bottom of my personal list.

DH and I had a great meal at Tony's this past week. The waiter was the best one we had during our trip. We opted to sit outside and had a view of of Main Street USA. It was just a nice relaxing lunch. Food was wonderful!

We love Fulton's...every meal we have had there has been outstanding (yes, it is a little pricey). Cape May if an average buffet but I don't think it should be on the worse list. From our recent trip, I would add Boatwright Dining Hall...worse meal we have ever had at Disney.

I have to vote for Tangerine cafe, man I didn't like anything there. We had our best meal at Coral Reef.

I have learned it is all a matter of personal opinions, but our not return list includes Boma and Cape May.

Wow, Several nominations for Cape May. Its never been high on my list, primarily because we have such good clambakes here. I'll be sure to include that one on the poll.

San Angel Inn & Cantina. Just bad.

ETA: And here is why....I am from Texas and also hispanic, so I know good Mexican food and good Tex-Mex. San Angel isn't even close to either one. The prices are way too high for what you get. At the Cantina, everything just reminds me of Taco Bell. Except for the salsa and queso, but excuse me, why am I paying $4 for an order of plain chips and queso???? At San Angel Inn, it's loud, crowded, and the service is not that great. Food is so-so, and again the chips and salsa are good. But overall, I would rather go someplace else.

I would be interested in the reasons why people consider a venue the "worst". Just to say it was the worst is so subjective, but if some reason of dislike was included it could assist others (with similar likes and/or dislikes) make a choice for the future. If the food was not edible, why??? Was it improperly cooked, not fresh, overly/underly seasoned??? Was it strictly a service issue??? Was it a price vs. value issue??? Lets get some real info going that will truly aid others in their decision making.

Just wondering!!

Boma is our #1 favorite, but it is a matter of taste and preference. McDonalds, for sure. We'll never go back to Nine Dragons. Used to be great but last time was horrible!

You got that right and I hope nobody takes any one post in this thread as absolute, just look at what folks have said so far. Over the past 20+ years we have eaten at just about every WDW TS and CS eatery including SOG (then the Disney Inn) and the old Disney Instutue (can't remember what it's called now) and probably 2 or 3 times at the Coral Reef and 5 or 6 times at Fulton's and thought each and every one of those were great. We've even eaten at the what was then called the Top of the World IIRC at the Contemporary and now is the CA Grill Room which we have also eaten there when it had an actual dinner floor show during the dinner.

Don't let what just one person may say sway you from trying it.
