ok can anyone tell me why they put a limit on how many ppl can go into a waiting line? i mean people used to be able to just walk away and come back and they would be all set, like me. but i don't see why they did this. anyone agree with me?

I agree, I had to wait half an hour just to get in the line, then another hour to get in the room. Once I finally got in, the staff game was closed.

I want to encourage everyone to write to VMK and complain. Of course they won't answer but at least you have done all you can and if they get enough letters about it, maybe they will change it.

I know for me, it hasn't done anything to help. Now you have to baby-sit the darn thing and yes I have sat here for half an hour just trying to get into the line that that gets into the line for the room; and I still got DISCONNECTED at 46 people, so it only waited for 4 people before dc me.

While it does take some time to get in the line. Every time i got in the room I was able to play and not dc once! Since they implemented this, the room doesn't have as many people and the line isn't crazy long so i think it helped a little bit. I don't think they implemented it just to make us mad!

So i think vmk has had some worse ideas. Like the halloween maze! lol

I guess my experience has been different. Twice today (once for me and once for my son), I was able to get in line for the staff trade. It took me only a few minutes to get accepted into the line at number 49. I made it through the line both times with several minutes to spare before I got dc.

Personally, I like that idea better than being in line behind 190 people, knowing that I will never make it through With only 50 people ahead of me, I definitely stand a chance.

sorry but it think it is a great idea!!! first of all you were all complaining about too long of lines right??? and they listened so they made this for us and now your complaining more! ok if you want something fixed and they listen and then you complain again that is not right. i think it is a great idea and i just think it's awefull how you can sit here and complain.

Now: limits 50 but if you try to enter every minute if full you will enter the line!


Now think about this truly! Would you rather cry and moan about lines being in the hundreds or would you rather try to get in a line that aonly holds 50


i think most of you would pick the shorter line!!!

i am not happy with what ppl are doing: you write in because lines are too long and now they make a block so it only holds 50 and you are still complaining appreciate what you got!!! and they are even having 2 games open at once so it evens out!!!!

lol sorry labgirl! What i always do is log off before a staff game starts then log back on a few minutes before it opens. That way I won't dc for another 45 minutes! A lot of people play on vmk for 30 min and then get in line for a game! Not quite enough time!

I know you can do it Labgirl! Keep trying!

i TOTALLY agree, i have been trying to get into line for 10 minutes, trying each half minute and STILL no luck, and will everyone getting dc its harder, i have been trying because i got dc at 49! only 1 person and i get dc, i got really mad

No offense but, I totally and completely disagree.

I have to try 5 or 6 times to get in the line but I always get in eventually. The wait behind 49 people is much better than waiting behind 200. Furthermore, I've been DCed once on the way into a game or host event since the new system was put in place.

It's not perfect but it's WAY better than the old system. :

just to let you know do not think you have been DCed until you get the message i was only waiting behind 2 ppl because i got into line early and it took 10 minutes to just move up 1 spot so be patient!

Who wants to wait in a line of up to 181 ppl for some host games?

If you have made it in to the Host's room there are less people lining up now, and its quicker to get your pin.

I have DC'ed many times too, even in the Host's room last night.

Its frustrating getting DC but remember it is a FREE game (meaning you don't have to pay to play online) and there are many other players online at the same time too, over 4000 today.

I like the limit on the line size too. I just wish they would make the disconnect time longer, like an hour.

Counting the time it takes to get in line, and then get through the line and into the room, and then get to the host to make a trade, 40 or 45 minutes (or whatever it is) just isn't enough, unless you've got a lot of experienced traders ahead of you that know exactly what to do. i.e. no chit-chat, know exactly what to trade, etc.

An hour would be much better. With the line size at 50, assuming you got in line, I'd bet 90-95% would be able to complete the trade.

KrazyLuke, you say that the lines reach over 500 people. well think about this. i sit there clicking enter room for an hour, or i want in line for an hour, and i am able to do other things while i wait. i do agree, the lines are a lot shorter, but you have to look at both sides of the story. yes the lines are shorter, but it takes you just as long to get into the line. LOL, i want to be a lawyer when i grow up, i like arguing.

You would get in... and wait.. and if you were extremely LUCKY... you made it to the top 100... It was a miracle if you made it into the actual room... This was easily an hour long task...

Well today I sat there, clicked to enter the room... no luck getting in line...
hah no big deal... worked on my room a little bit...
Clicked again a few minutes later.. and BAM... im number 48 in line...
I think I clocked the time at waiting in line at about 15-20 mins before I got into the actual room...

Yes the lines are shorter... cut down to a 50-man queue
and it could take you just as long in an overall retrospect, but rather then stare at a black screen for the first half hour, I got to build up my room and message friends...
The queue went fast and within a half hour I was back into the live game with my new pin

I think this is a great idea... it cut down on my DC time immensely and for the first time I was actually able to make a host trade...

yes I have had alot of luck with the new system!!! I love it! if you log in fresh and get into that line within a reasonable amount of time you will probably make it in and through the host game!

I can't tell one way or the other yet if I like it or not. I think the idea is great. But when I've tried at least 25 times to get into a line, I only got in once.

They do need to make the diconnect time a lot longer tho. I can't keep connected today at all. Every 45 mins I'm disconnected. And most of the time when I'm in the middle of a game. It's getting very frustrating.
