Worried!!

So I'm now less than 10 days away from leaving for a week long trip to WDW, with DBF and our two friends. I LOVE Disney and I've been counting down to this trip for MONTHS!! This will be my first trip to my favorite place with my favorite person. We have scored some amazing ADRs (including Le Cellier and 'Ohana, both which I have never been to in all my trips to Disney). We even purposefully included the first two days of the F&W Fest since we have never experienced this either. Sounds perfect, right??

WELL... DBF is a tv weatherman, and looking at his future weather models for the next two weeks, some are predicting a hurricane in the gulf the last week of September (the week we are going). If there is a hurricane in the gulf, he will have to stay home in order to cover the hurricane on tv, and so will my friend's husband, who is a producer at the same tv station.

I was so excited about the trip, and now I'm already bummed and don't want to get my hopes up incase our trip doesn't pan out.... SIGH.....

It's pointless to worry about the weather. You can't control it or change it, so don't lose sleep over it.

Although it would be disappointing to leave DBF home, couldn't you and your BFF go anyway, even if the guys had to stay and work?

I'll keep my fingers crossed that the weather settles down.

I'll cross my fingers too...I'd go with the other guys wife/GF and maybe the guys will get there later on in the week. Good luck and let us know what happens.

When it comes right down to it the weather really isn't as predictable as we might like to think it is (especially more than a couple of days ahead) and hurricanes are even less so. Relax, hope for the best but quietly start thinking of ways to enjoy an "all girls" trip should that come to pass.

P/S ... all girl trips can be a blast!
