Worried I lost my discount...

On our last day at WDW (Sept 29), we toured SSR and went back home to think about buying DVC. They told us we had 3 days to take advantage of their promotion. After 2 days, we decided to buy and called them. Our guide was on vacation so we spoke to someone else who took all our information, including the credit card number, and said we should expect a package from them within a few days with all the paperwork. Today it's Oct 10 and I haven't received anything. I checked my credit card statement online, and there has been no charge on it. Now I'm really worried that they messed up and I lost my chance. I left a message today, but I'm really upset and concerned that they will not honor the offer they gave us.

Do you think I have a chance?

Hopefully you have who you talked to. I'd think you're pretty safe in this situation. Just give them a call.

You should be fine. Similar thing happened to us, except we waited until the ride home (away from Disney) to talk about being interested. We both didn't just want to get caught up in the disney magic when making the decision.

Our guide was first on Vacation and then a week on the a cruise so two weeks later we finally got to talk to her.

We lost out on the $750 building discount, but we were still able to do the Magical Beginnings and selling back of our 1st year points.

I would call your guide on monday just to be safe. I did an add on around the same time as you and still haven't received my paperwork. When I called this week to check it out, they said they'e behind in the paperwork. They had a huge surge in contracts that last week of September and are still playing catch up.
