Worried about the weather forecast

Not sure if this is in the right area, but can someone reassure me that it's going to be nice and sunny next week? The 10 day forecast at weather.com says that it might rain every day of my vacation. I've got anything from 10-60% chance of rain on all of the days! Some with scattered thunder storms too. I'm so bummed!

Someone please tell me that if it rains it'll be for like 20 minutes and then be nice the rest of the day. I want sunshine! :sunny:

We will be there next week also--(hoing for a nice tan to come home with) but if it rains, hopefully that will mean less people in the parks!

We live outside of Tampa (on the West coast of FL) and the weather looks like it will be really nice next week. If it does rain, it will be a short sprinkle or so. We haven't had a good rain in about two months or so and aren't expecting to be in our rainy season until end of May. The humidity is supposed to be lower which means PERFECT. Don't stress about the weather, the sun will shine for 90% of the time.
We'll be at WDW next week too and we go this time of year because the weather is usually so nice.
Have a great time!!

Some of are best park days have been after a heavy fla afternoon down poor cleared out the park.If you have an all day rain forcast try Eppcott in door attractions. The only time weather affected me was at mvmcp in 2004 got down in the low 30's and all my winter close where at home back in mo lol.

I checked weather.com and it looks like now it ranges from 0% on Sun - 60% on Fri. But most of the beginning of the week - Sunday through Thursday actually - only have a 30% chance or less. Not too bad at all. And it always changes. We'll be there too, and when I looked this morning there was nothing over a 20% chance. Strange. But it's Disney, so no worries okay? Have fun no matter what. :goodvibes

Don't trust that at all!!!! Seriously! I have gotten myself in a tizzy over a 10 day Orlando forecast a time or two :rotfl: Then the complete opposite happens when I get there :)

We live near Tampa and are going to Disney next week too. Don't worry about that forecast! FL weather is hard to predict and it almost always changes...especially this far out. Plus rain doesn't usually last long anyway. No worries...your trip will be great!!

I have been checking for the last 5 days and the thing has changed at least once a day. Today, it changed twice.

Personally, I think the weather channel does it to make ya nuts! :lmao:

Don't worry. And scattered/isolated thunderstorms means intermittent and over with quickly. Just the way we like them!!! :)

Look at the hour-by-hour forcast. There may be a chance of rain, but at what times and at what time. Rember, even if there is a 60% chance of rain for 3 hours during the day, that is what is going to be posted as the forecast.

www.wftv.com is a great local weather station. Also be aware that it is very very dry here. A little rain would be welcome. We have had brush fires all over. I would hate to see one near the parks so hope for some rain.

I've been to Disney quite a few times n May. There's always a chance of showers every day.

As the summer heat draws nearer you can expect daily afternoon showers. May is still early in the season, but sometimes you'll get those humid weeks that produce those afternoon showers.

Don't stress over it get yourself a poncho. When the showers come the parks empty. It's time to do those rides with long lines. The lines aren't so long anymore. In October an afternoon rain shower cleared out MGM. All rides were walk-on RnR, ToT. Showers have their advantages if your willing to stay in the park.

Just wanted to let you know that Accuweather is predicting partly sunny for every day next week. Enjoy your vacation!
